ECLASS offers you the opportunity to have a look at and search the latest ECLASS Releases free of charge. The search function is intuitive and allows you to get to know the standard in a quick and non-bureaucratic manner.
How to use the ECLASS search
Please first select ...
- whether you want to search ECLASS Basic or Advanced
- in which Release version you want to search
- in which language you want to search
- whether you want to search in the classes or for properties, values etc.
Then enter a search term (e.g. "pencil") and click on "Search".
Please note that the application of the ECLASS Standard requires a license. (see also ECLASS Terms of Use)

| Definition | Scaffolding is a temporary, generally reusable, auxiliary construction consisting of mostly standardized scaffold elements made of various materials, which are used as work platforms, for fixing the formwork or as a protective device.
