Roles of ETIM/proficl@ss
Any ETIM/proficl@ss user is automatically an authenticated user with level advanced, that can create change requests.
Additionally there will be defined three groups ETIM/proficl@ss.
ETIM/proficl@ss-READ is an authenticated user that has the possibility to visualize ECLASS content together with ETIM/proficl@ss tables. This role will be treated only as a guest meaning that user will visualize ECLASS content as well as released mapping tables.
ETIM/proficl@ss-WRITE is an authenticated user that has the possibility to visualize ECLASS content together with ETIM/proficl@ss tables. User with this role will visualize ECLASS content as well as mapping tables. User has rights to fill in the mapping tables and set them to release.
ETIM/proficl@ss-CHAIRMAN is an authenticated user that will have entire rights as ETIM/proficl@ss-
WRITE. Additionally this role will have delete rights. The user will have the possibility to visualize and/or add ECLASS to ETIM/proficl@ss mapping attributes to a selected entity.
ETIM Mapping
ETIM is designed as an extension to the ECLASS service portal, being enabled by specific features.
The function for this extension to the ECLASS service portal will be the display of ECLASS content together with a dialog containing an ECLASS to ETIM mapping.
Existing ECLASS content will remain untouched. ETIM will not change ECLASS content.
There is no workflow (except release) defined for an ECLASS – ETIM Mapping Entry.
ECLASS – ETIM Mapping Entries are not related to Change Request Workflows.
ECLASS – ETIM Mapping Entries are static. In case changes take place within ECLASS, the mapping relations to ETIM will not be changed.
This function is available under [ETIM Mapping]. All SEs available in the system, as well as all entity details are displayed.

Create ETIM Mapping
The function offers users the possibility to administer available SEs and create ETIM Mappings.
This function is available under [ETIM/proficl@ss – ETIM/profiCl@ss Mapping]. Select menu entry [ETIM Mapping], then the desired SE and before proceeding any other steps check its details.

Select [ETIM]. The [ETIM Mappings] table opens and allows users to type a name for your mapping.

Type the name of mapping, then press [Save]. In case the user wants to quit the ETIM mapping and not continue the process, the button [Cancel] must be pressed.

Saving the ETIM Mapping
When saved, the dialog box indicates the number generated automatically by the system and allows the user to cave the mapping:

Press [Save] in order to have the created ETIM Mapping saved. The saved mapping will be listed in ETIM Mappings under [List ETIM-Mapping Table].
Releasing the ETIM-Mapping
Press [Release] in order to have the created ETIM Mapping released. Once the user releases the mapping, this is locked, not allowing changes anymore. Still, after releasing the mapping, the user has the right to unlock (in order to undertake further changes) or to delete the released mapping.

The released mapping will be listed in ETIM Mappings under [List ETIM-Mapping Table].
Unlocking or deleting the ETIM Mapping
Pressing [Unlock] allows user to reedit the ETIM mapping and then release it again,

while pressing [Delete] allows user to delete a created mapping.
List ETIM-mapping Table
This function is available under [ETIM/proficl@ss – List -> List ETIM Mapping Table]. It offers the users to view the list of created, saved or released ETIM mappings.

Exporting the ETIM Mapping
The user has the possibility to export the list in Excel form. This function is available under [List ETIM Mapping Table] -> press [Export].
Exporting the ETIM Mapping to PC
The user has the possibility to export the list in Excel form to his/her own PC. This function is available under [List ETIM Mapping Table] -> press [Export].
[Export options] dialog will open, allowing the user to preset the export conditions. User ticks and selects the export options as shown below.

After selecting the Export Options, press [Export]. The following dialog will open indicating user where to have the exported list saved.

Exporting the ETIM Mapping via e-mail
The user has the possibility to export the list in Excel form to an e-mail address. This function is available under [List ETIM Mapping Table] -> press [Export].
[Export options] dialog will open, allowing the user to preset the export conditions. User ticks and selects the export options as shown below.

In the same dialog the message [You will receive the exported file in your mailbox] is displayed, announcing the user that the List was exported to the mentioned e-mail address.
In Inbox the recipient receives the following message:

Exporting the proficl@ss Mapping
