The ECLASS association offers a wide range of options and support for incorporating missing content into the ECLASS Standard together with product experts from industry and trade. In many cases this is easier than you think: you get involved in one of the active ECLASS expert groups and have a direct influence on the further development of the ECLASS content. The structures and contents of the ECLASS Standard are created in these expert groups "from practice and for practice".
More than 60 expert groups from various product and service segments are currently involved in the continuous development of the standard. Are you interested in working in an expert group? In the ECLASS Head Office we are at your disposal as a contact and will inform you about the possibilities of participation!
The current developments and extensions of the standard by the following expert groups are particularly exciting:
- Expert group 22 (construction engineering) with a focus on various construction product areas, building materials and construction services
- Expert group 40 (occupational safety) with a focus on 'personal protective equipment'.
