Clean and up-to-date databases are the be-all and end-all for product descriptions to support customers in selecting a supplier and ordering technology components. The ECLASS e.V. and the technology group omlox within the PROFIBUS Nutzerorganisation e.V. would like to devote themselves to the aspect of "master data management for positioning technologies" and invite partners and member companies to do so.
In a joint working group, on the one hand, product categories and product properties of positioning hardware and, on the other hand, positioning-relevant data fields for all product elements within ECLASS are to be defined.
The kick-off date for this new working group is March 20, 2023, 11h-12h, online.
