ECLASS OpArm/CRD Meeting at Prospitalia in Ulm, Germany

Since 2020, the representatives of the two bodies have met once a year to make strategic decisions, particularly with regard to the Standard's technical and process development.

An important topic is the joint finalization of the draft budget and project planning for the following year in preparation for the ECLASS Board and Steering Committee.

The agenda of the hybrid meeting on September 7, 2023 in Ulm included exciting updates and discussions as well as planning for 2024:

  • Update on the current Release 14.0: New developments and improvements to the Standard
  • Discussion on new functionalities in CDP (document manager and terminology manager)
  • Project and budget planning 2024: Joint approval of the planning for further coordination with the ECLASS Board and Steering Committee

 

The bodies in detail:

The CRD (Center for Research and Development) is responsible for the technical further development and control of the ECLASS Standard, while the OpArm (Operating Arm) as a body of experts advises and supports the Executive Board in the preparation of resolution-relevant and other association-relevant topics.
