Driving Digital Transformation: Insights from the ECLASS Congress 2025

With a strong focus on the Digital Product Passport, semantic interoperability, and smart manufacturing, the ECLASS Congress 2025 delivered actionable insights and global perspectives. Experts and practitioners from 17 countries came together to explore how standardized data is driving innovation across industries — and how ECLASS continues to evolve as a cornerstone of digital transformation.

What an Incredible Day!

The ECLASS Congress 2025 brought together 114 in-person attendees and 157 livestream participants from across the globe — from Germany to Japan, the United States to Thailand — united by a shared vision for the future of digital standards.

From Technical Deep Dives to Strategic Discussions

The presentations offered a deep dive into the future of standardized product data, with a strong focus on enabling digital transformation across industries. Key topics included the implementation of the Digital Product Passport (DPP), semantic interoperability, and the integration of the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) into industrial ecosystems.

Experts shared practical use cases, technical insights, and strategic approaches to improving data quality, automating classification, and supporting smart manufacturing. The sessions highlighted how ECLASS continues to evolve as a foundational standard for global data exchange and digital innovation.

Let’s Talk – And Keep Talking

Networking was everywhere — not just during the sessions, but in all the little moments in between. Whether grabbing a coffee, chatting between panels, or mingling with solution providers, attendees made the most of every chance to connect. Ideas were exchanged, new collaborations sparked, and bridges built across industries and borders.

The evening event at the Sportmuseum added a fun and relaxed vibe, perfect for deeper conversations, shared laughs, and the start of some exciting new partnerships.

And the conversation doesn’t stop here!
