The extensions relate in particular to the following segments:
✔ 2,000 new class definitions in segment 34 (Medical Device)
✔ New structures in segment 22-36 (Sanitation)
✔ New structures in segment 27-27 (Sensor technology)
✔ Numerous extensions in segment 29 (Home economics, Home technology) and segment 35 (Semifinished product)
We will make the ALPHA version available to our experts for testing as early as June 2023. At the same time, the expert groups submit further change requests that are taken into account in the BETA phase. The BETA version will be available to testers in August 2023.
By migrating to the AWS Cloud, the BETA and PROD phase can be processed much faster, so that we can publish the new ECLASS Release 14.0 already in December 2023.

Roadmap ECLASS Release 14.0
Another step towards ECLASS Release 14.0 has been successfully completed. By the deadline of April 20, 2023, already 22,000 new change requests had been submitted by users of the ECLASS Standard.
