Search the ECLASS content
ECLASS offers you the opportunity to have a look at and search the latest ECLASS Releases free of charge. The search function is intuitive and allows you to get to know the standard in a quick and non-bureaucratic manner.
How to use the ECLASS search
Please first select ...
- whether you want to search ECLASS Basic or Advanced
- in which Release version you want to search
- in which language you want to search
- whether you want to search in the classes or for properties, values etc.
Then enter a search term (e.g. "pencil") and click on "Search".

| Definition | With the international designation SR (from synthetic resin screed) synthetic resin screeds, usually epoxy resin paints, are designated. Polyurethane, polymethyl methacrylate and other plastics are also possible. These cost-intensive substrates are only installed in special cases, for example when short drying times or high dynamic loadability are required. The shrinkage in the polyaddition is between 1 and 5 percent depending on the product. This must be taken into account when selecting the laying material. SR is water resistant. Disadvantages are possible dangers caused by the hardeners, such as, for example, bisphenol A. These are suspected of causing sterility. It is also possible to change the fire class of the entire structure. Polycondensates, such as polyesters, are not suitable for the high shrinkage rate. Painted synthetic resin flooring is considered a special waste and has to be declared accordingly at the disposal company |
