How to use the ECLASS search
Please first select ...
- whether you want to search ECLASS Basic or Advanced
- in which Release version you want to search
- in which language you want to search
- whether you want to search in the classes or for properties, values etc.
Then enter a search term (e.g. "pencil") and click on "Search".

| Definition | Ceramic thick-film sensors consist of aluminum oxide. Their base body is designed as a solid ring whose front side forms a membrane. On the side facing away from the pressure, strain gauges are applied by means of screen printing and burned in. The resistivity change of the metallic strain gauges under the influence of pressure on the membrane can be interconnected and measured in a Wheatstone's measuring bridge.
