You purchase a license for ECLASS Release 12.0 in all available languages. Most of the language versions are partly translated; the rest filled with the English original.
The ECLASS Release 6.1 in comparison to Release 6.0.x includes about 200 new classification classes, 270 new English keywords, more than 1,200 new properties and more than 700 new values. Further, many orthographical textual corrections were made (among others to adapt ECLASS to its standard American English).
New basic properties were added:
- the EAN Code – in ECLASS 6.1 renamed into GTIN to adapt the latest official changes of the GS1– was attached to all classes
- newly added to all segments are
- customs tariff number (all segments except segment 25 Services)
- supplier name
- additional link address
- further more new basic properties were added to the following segments
- 20 Packing material: REACH designation obligatory; Certificates and permits
- 24 Office material: REACH designation obligatory; Safety data sheet obligatory; Certificates and permits
- 32 Laboratory material: net weight; gross weight; dual use mark; country of origin; county of origin
Apart from that errors in form and content were corrected, e.g. incorrect property formats and incorrect property-value-relations were corrected that are documented in newly added information. These add-ons and corrections have massively increased the quality of the classification.
The innovations of the content of Release 6.1, in comparison to 6.0 (in ServicePack 6.0.1), concern the following branches/segments:
