“The team of Neoception belongs to the Top 10 Experts in the market when it is about standardized Digital Twins (AAS) and the Digital Product Passport,” says Thorsten Kroke, Managing Director of ECLASS e.V.
ZVEI e.V. and Neoception have jointly developed a reference architecture for the DPP4.0 of ZVEI e.V., which Neoception already uses in its software product “Neoception® Digital Twin Infrastructure” for the automated and scalable creation of (instantiated) digital twins.
It follows the philosophy of "configuration instead of programming" to safe IT resources during operation. Furthermore, it is perfectly designed to meet the (so far known) core requirements of the Digital Product Passport:
- The creation of digital twins "on demand" ensures that the most up-to-date information is always displayed within the digital twin.
- Context- and rule-based automation allows easily configuration and control of access rights to different information
- With the latest feature, the "Snapshot Application," the respective Digital Product Passport can be registered and published with the authorities at any time.
In addition to its partnership with ECLASS e.V., Neoception is an active member of other relevant committees (Industrial Digital Twin Association e.V., ZVEI e.V., Plattform Industrie 4.0) and their working groups. The knowledge generated here not only flows into the further development of its own products, but Neoception is also happy to make it available to its customers. This is one of the ways we came up with the webinar series "Stop trying, start doing! – The technical implementation and use of a Digital Product Passport," which we co-organized with ECLASS e.V. and BCON².
