Properties
New properties can be created (NEW PR), existing PR can be edited (EDIT PR), existing PR can be replaced by another NEW or existing PR (REPLACE PR) and existing PR can be deleted (DELETE PR).
NEW PR
NEW PR = A new PR shall be created.
Mandatory fields:
CR type | NEW PR | |
id_pr_existing | if creating a new PR, insert unique ID, e.g.YOURNAME_NEW_PR_01
preferred name EN | an appropriate name according to quick guide (see annex)
Definition EN | an appropriate definition according to quick guide (see annex)
data type | choose a data type for the property from list
unit ID | 6-digit ID of an ECLASS unit (information provided by ECLASS head office or in the CDP) | mandatory, if data type = REAL_MEASURE or INTEGER_MEASURE |
reference | if referring to a quotable source (like a standard),insert the source here (e.g. DIN EN 1234-567) | NOT in the definition! Not mandatory, but desirable |
CR Proposer | CDP user name
Reason for request | Your reason for the change |
- Note: For a PR with a ValueList, following datatypes should be chosen:
- String PR can only have coded values
- MEASURE or INTEGER can only have numerical values
- BOOLEAN can have only yes and no
EDIT PR
EDIT PR = changing an existing PR
Mandatory fields:
CR type | EDIT PR |

Definition language_country new | definition related to the EDIT PR |
CR Proposer | CDP user name |
Reason for request | Your reason for the change |
NOTE: EDIT PR is only valid for text attributes like preferred name, definition. It is assumed that the concept of the PR is not changed, but that it is only a textual correction or translation. In case the concept, i.e. the scope, the content of the PR is changed, a new PR has to be created instead that replaces the old PR. Therefore, EDIT PR is not valid for changes of the data type nor the unit. If you want to change the definition of a PR you have to fill in the fields "definition EN" and "definition new EN".
REPLACE PR
In case of REPLACE PR global = the source PR will be replaced in all context (global in Release) where used. In case of Replace PR local = the source PR will be replaced in the context of a class.

id_class_target | If you have selected "local" in the column "type of replacement", then fill in the 8-digit class coded name of the CC, in which the PR shall be replaced |
type of consistency successor | hard type = only replacements allowed when the data type of replacing and to be replaced PR is the same no consistency = fill in when the data type of replacing and to be replaced PR is the NOT same |
preferred name PR EN | the name of the property which will be replaced |
CR Proposer | CDP user name |
Reason for request | Your reason for the change |
NOTE:
- Replace of PRs can take place only if the data type is identical.
