Constraint (Help Page)

Generalities

Constraints are handled via change requests of type ENABLE VALUE. They are always set in the context of a specific class and property.

Relevant Menu Entries

The relevant menus related to the constraint functionality can be found in Dictionary Manager: [Constraint - Browse] and [Constraint - Restrict Value List].

Create Change Request

Enable Value CRs can be created as follows:

1. Select Property for whose Values CRs of type Enable Value need to be created.

2. In the "Constrain new" interface, select the Values which will be enabled:

3. Enter Reason for Change Request and press SAVE --> System will create CR of type Enable Value for each of the selected Values:
