What is the Content Development Platform (CDP)?

The Content Development Platform (CDP) is the online platform open for every interested user to search for ECLASS content and browse for data in the ECLASS hierarchy. Additionally, users can submit their proposals for changes of the content of ECLASS (change requests). The usage is open for everybody and free of charge. A user simply has to register so that change requests, their requestor and their reason are documented.

How do I access the CDP?

The CDP can be accessed via the following link: https://www.eclass-cdp.com

Following steps must be followed for first log in in CDP:

1. Click on "Register new user".

 

2. Fill in mandatory fields (Fields marked with stars*)

3. Click on "Register".

4. Confirm registration via mail.

Note: All screenshots and its description have been done with

  • User with the dafault rights (no extended rights)
  • CDP version 8.2

The menus in CDP can have been adjusted over time due to new or changes functionalities.
