3. CAx-Basis Aspect

In this CAx-aspect, basic CAx-planning-relevant information shall be given to the article which are independent of connections and functions. The cardinality properties "Number..." can be used to describe possible article-specific variants. Please refer to the following figure for the subject areas concerned.

The code letters support a uniform reference marking system for the unambiguous identification of the objects in the plant system during planning, design, implementation, operation, maintenance and disassembly. These code letters describe functions. In addition to the main function, the identification letters can also be used to describe help functions of an article. These functional descriptions of the articles are used by computer-aided modelling tools and are also part of the following functional descriptions.
